If there’s one thing that ends up taking over my closet, it’s t-shirts. I swear I’ve never bought one, but they seem to find their way into my closet nevertheless. I used to just donate them, but the reality is that most people aren’t interested in buying my ten year old tennis tournament T-shirts and they’ll probably end up in a landfill. Fortunately, they’re a great medium for a variety of craft projects. I also find that they’re a great low-risk material to use when you’re learning to embroider, dye, or sew. Here are 10 craft projects and uses for those old T-shirts cluttering up your closet.
1) Practice Using Natural Dyes
2) T-Shirt Yarn Rug
3) Embroidered T-Shirt
4) Make a T-Shirt Dress
5) T-Shirt Yarn Plant Hanger
